Description

Sixteen Civil War widows residing in St. Louis react to a number of conferences conducted by encouraging "primary homesteads" in a "flourishing neighborhood by a property speculator who attracts them northwest." Unbeknownst for them, the speculatoris true purpose would be to find a reason to create girls to the community of Plum Grove, Nebraska, hoping they'll take union plans soon after their appearance! Sparks fly when these naive widows meet up with the guys who're awaiting them. These ladies are likely to need all of the belief and courage particularly when they start to realize that not one of them is precisely who she seems to be -- they could gather to endure these undesirable conditions.
