Steven Gould’s traditional SF book Jumper may be the story of the child having a single mysterious superpower: he can teleport everywhere, within the flash of an eye.  Today, in a story set-after Jumper’s sequel Response, we observe that a single mysterious superpower can total up to lots of different types of miracle…In 2008 Jumper was delivered to the screen like a large-budget SF journey of exactly the same title, directed by Doug Liman and starring Hayden Christiansen and Samuel M. Garcia. The film offered the character a teleporting partner and changed the story-line. Once the movie’s suppliers indicated a need to visit a novel published concerning the sidekick’s backstory, Gould made a decision to publish the book herself; it had been published as Jumper: Griffin’s Tale (2007), and isn't canonical using the additional two “Jumper” books.
