Franklin Delano Donuthead is just a sixth grader having a large amount of issues: First of all, his lastname is Donuthead. He views herself disabled since one-arm and knee are smaller than another (by less than half-an inch), his mom is attempting to poison him with non-natural ingredients (like salami), he doesn’t have a dad, and Sarah Kervick, the brand new woman, who’s imply and completely unclean, is mounted on him, warts and all, like stick. It is a touching and comical book having a neurotic, frightened child and a tougher-than-nails woman who each support another in more ways than they are able to imagine. Sue Stauffacher has designed characters saturated in humor and awareness, with only a little anti bacterial detergent tossed set for good measure.From the Hardcover version.
