Elizabeth Gardner (Lizzy) is seventeen-yrs old when she informs her parents she’s seeing her friends. Alternatively, she meets up with Jared Shayne, her partner of 2 yrs. Her ideal evening becomes her worst problem, as she walks home beneath an inky-black sky. Fourteen years later, Lizzy is just a certified PI referred to as the “one who got away.” When she’s not trying to find runaway teens, focusing on insurance scams, or speaking with her counselor, she’s in the nearby senior school coaching girls to protect themselves.
