Description

Malaya, 1951. Yun Ling Teoh, the damaged single survivor of the raw Japanese wartime camping, seeks comfort one of the rainforest-fringed tea farms of Cameron Highlands. There she finds Yugiri, the only real Western yard in Malaya, and its inventor and owner, the enigmatic Aritomo, exiled former farmer of the emperor of China. Despite her hatred of japan, Yun Ling attempts to interact Aritomo to produce a garden in memory of her cousin, who perished in the camp.
