Description

Harry attacked his commanding officer and is suspended indefinitely, pending a psychological assessment. In the beginning he resists the LAPD shrink, but finally acknowledges that something is troubling him and has for quite a long time. In 1961, when Harry was twelve, his mother, a prostitute, was cruelly killed, and no body has previously been charged of the crime.With the free time a suspension provides, Harry starts up the thirty-year-old report on the case and is irresistibly drawn right into a past he's always avoided.
