Description
On July 1, 1959, at Ypsilanti State Hospital in Michigan, the cultural psychiatrist Milton Rokeach introduced together three weird schizophrenics: Clyde Benson, an aged character and intoxicating; Paul Cassel, a failed author who had been institutionalized after progressively chaotic conduct toward his household; and Leon Gabor, an university dropout and veteran of World-War II. The guys had something in keeping: each thought himself to be Jesus Christ. Their remarkable assembly and both years they spent in one single another’s organization acts whilst the foundation for a study in to the nature of individual perception, personality, and misconception that's touching, humorous, and sometimes troubling. Exhibiting the subtlety and compassion of the talented author, Rokeach pulls us in to the lives of three greatly and struggling different guys who end up “confronted using the supreme contradiction imaginable for people: several person declaring exactly the same identity.” -
