Description

Small Tavera is just a half-elf kid in a property of people, an outsider pulled from poor situation to worse--until Derk assumes her and whisks her away as their own. Tavera quickly discovers her fresh Pa is just a master thief, an associate of at the very top number of skilled scoundrels named the Glass of Lotion. They make their money this way, sure, but robbery is really as essential as every other occupation in the Area of Five Crescents; society is balanced by it. To Derkis--and her own--pleasure, Tavera develops right into a theif and works her way toward membership in the Mug.
