Niles Perry and Netherlands are similar thirteen-year-old twins. They're close, close enough, practically, to see each other’s ideas, but they couldn’t be much more diverse. Netherlands is naughty and daring, a poor impact, while Niles is type and wanting to please, the type of child who makes parents happy. The Perrys reside in the rustic New England city their household settled ages before, and the expanded group has collected at its ancestral plantation come july 1st to grieve the demise of the twins’ dad in a most unlucky incident, because it occurs.
