Description

The people of the town of Paladria have two interests: galley-race and political interest. Into this atmosphere comes Mirko Ascalon, a disgraced former galley-master in the regional world of Garganet. Mirko allows a fee to coach the team of Serendipity, the galley of formidable politician Bartazan of Bartazan Home. Quickly Mirko starts to understand the breadth of the job facing him: his team is inefficient and demotivated, Bartazan is likely to make use of the galley as something in his political goals; and Mirko's choice to market info to Bartazan's opponents is impossible to enhance things.
