In 1935, the Spokane authorities frequently extorted gender, food, and cash in the hesitant hobos (most of them homeless farmers who'd left the Midwestern dirt containers), robbed dairies, and involved in most types of nefarious crimes, including homicide. This history was suppressed until 1989, when former logger, Vietnam vet, and Spokane policeman Tony Bamonte found a peculiar 1955 deathbed confession while exploring a dissertation on regional police force history. Bamonte started initially to probe what had every appearance of common police offense and an enormous cover up whose highlight was the unsolved homicide of City Marshall George Conff. The very fact that a lot of those concerned, now within their 80s and 90s, were still living managed to get imperative that this mystery is unraveled by Bamonte.
