Description

After thirteen years as a homicide investigator, his partner dead, and his closest friend shot in a robbery, Sean O’Brien feels as though he’s experienced a battle. He leaves the streets of Miami for an easier existence on the banks of the St. Johns River close to the Ocala National Forest. What he finds there, however, starts a dim doorway to something more scary than anything he actually examined in Miami. O’Brien has purchased a classic, run-down house and started fixes when he sees a guy jogging chest-deep in the regional alligator-infested river.
