A WORD FROM LOUIS L’AMOUR   “Almost forty years back, when my fiction was being released solely in ‘pulp’ american publications, I authored many book-length stories, which my writers named ‘magazine novels.’ In making them, I became so associated with my figures that their lives were still just as much part of me as I was of them long following the problems in which they seemed became collector’s products. Happy as I was about how I introduced the heroes and their journeys alive within the pages of the publications, I nevertheless wanted the audience to understand more about my people and why they did what they did. Therefore, through the years, I modified and extended these journal works into fuller-size books that I printed in book under additional games.   “These specific early journal variations of my publications have been a supply of great attention and speculation among a lot of my visitors, so much so recently, that I’m today very happy to gather three of these in book form for the very first time.
