Description

By robbery and talking, the Thief of Eddis is becoming King of Attolia. Eugenides wanted the king, not the top, but he finds herself caught in a web of their own making. Attoliais barons seethe with resentment, the Mede emperor is time for the assault, and the master is enclosed by the dangerous and delicate interest of the Attolian courtroom. Whenever a trusting small shield expresses his contempt for the master in no uncertain terms, he's pulled by Eugenides in to the middle of the political maelstrom.
