Adelle Smith has lived her lifetime for the improvement of humanity. A Civil-Rights Activist in the Seventies and Sixties, she's spent the majority of her adult existence giving speeches marches, joining, and lending a hand to anyone in need. But to the very night she's to be recognized with an Eternity Achievement Award for her humanitarian efforts, a swing leaves her partly paralyzed and not able to talk.
