Evil has arrived at Cedar Hill.When the tortured body of the lost fourteen-year-old woman washes on the water's side throughout a Fourth of July fireworks show in the city of Cedar Hill, police investigator Mike Halloran has just two hints - her body has been stored frozen for all months, and she's been broken in unspeakable ways. And Halloran is not the only real guy trying to find solutions; Joel Roberts is enthusiastic about the offense and he's an uncanny psychic capability. He wonders if it can be used by him in some manner to simply help solve the murder, while battling to comprehend his present. But as Joel gets further into their own analysis, he begins to believe the killer maybe closer than he first imagined, and that he himself could be at risk.
