Description

Fifteen-year-old Charley Thompson desires a house, food available, and a higher school he is able to attend for significantly more than section of a year. But whilst the child of just one dad employed in stores over the Pacific Northwest, Charley's been virtually by himself. When tragic events keep him destitute months after their proceed to Portland, Oregon, Charley tries sanctuary in the finish room of the run down mount monitor. Charleyis only luxuries are his companionship with an image of his only known general and a racehorse called Slim on Pete.
