Description

In a town in the American Area where he's no contacts, an informed man recently-released from jail is remaining in a resort. Letters are written by him to his brother and to others, including a buddy still in prison. When he meets a genuine estate broker who informs him he's the heir to an enormous old-house, long vacant, he goes in, although he's also broke to actually purchase furniture, and is quickly faced with unnatural and wonderful animals and events.His existence is totally changed and we continue reading, because we got to know more. We modify our views of him, and of others, with each notice.
